I mounted the series of prints, hung them in my parents living-room which was rebranded FRTN HPTN GRNG (our address) and had a faux exhibition. We dressed up, my girlfriend and her mum joined via zoom and we got drunk to celebrate.
After creating hundreds of A5 prints, I selected the best and added imagery from Sean Tejaratchi's 'The Big Book of Unhappiness'. The prints were a response to what I was feeling—The Moods of Lockdown
During the first lockdown in 2020, in an attempt to keep myself semi-sane, I took up a new hobby. Baking banana bread? Nah. Running 5ks? Definitely not. Gelatine Printing: a messy, cheap relief printing method?
